Number 1-->Laundry!

Cleaning the bathrooms... (The one we never use still gets dirty! (dusty mostly)ugh!)
Making my bed each day (ya right like that ever happens!)



A few FEARS I have developed recently


HEIGHTS ( realized this while in Vegas last summer while UP 113+ stories in the air in the Stratosphere tower)

BIRDS(Always found them CREEPY, like when I was with Damon recording for our high school radio and his bird attacked me, or when I went to pet land and started crying when I realized that the only way out was right beside the BIG parrot)


WALKING/DRIVING UNDER BRIDGES WHILE THERE IS A TRAIN ( for SOME reason I have the fear that the train is going to derail and I am going to DIE)

Getting a FULL nights sleep (Happens less often that I would like)

My NEW KOBO EBOOK reader (Makes reading in bed much easier.. ie. I can pull the blankets right up around my neck and keep my hands and arms WARM with out have to flip a page. Only have to stick out a finger and push a button)

A-Win Insurance

Well my dear friends, things have been a little crazy and exciting lately.

Steve has bought his own insurance brokerage! I am very proud of him, and excited for the future. He is enjoying it alot and has started a blog so people like you can go and learn a little bit more about insurance and other things that he blogs about. Its pretty neat! No I am not dead, I just haven't written in a long time and didn't know what to say if I would have.

Sometimes I wonder if anyone takes me seriously... my family, friends, coworkers... I feel like no one does. I don't have an visible talents to contribute to anyone, no profound knowledge that would inspire anyone. I know so many people who craft, sew, write, paint, sing, play piano... just to list a few. I go to work do what I am told and come home. My house is often messy, no crafty things on the walls. I know that I have gained weight and I want to get rid of it asap. How do I change this funk that I am in?

I love Steven, he does his best to help me out and encourage me. I am starting yoga next week and I bought a few things I want to use in a craft, and I have made dinner ( no eating out or eating just fries and chicken fingers) almost every night for the past month or so. I am going to the temple this weekend. I want out of this funk!!!

PS. This is not to get sympathy or people feeling sorry for me... I just need to get out of this funk.

Summer

This Summer has been super busy,
We had my parents living with us for 2 months. They finally were able to move into their newly built house on July 23. It was very exciting for them! To not have to live with us any more and to be able to unpack all their items they haven't seen in 2 months.
Steve has been making decisions about his career. Details will be divulged at a later date.... oooohhoh the mystery! haha
There was a wedding last weekend for Mark and Kassie Ruzika... It was a beautiful wedding! The ceremony was really good, the paster talked alot about Marriage being a gift from God and how we need to include him in that relationship. This weekend is Harrison and Cheryl's Wedding in Cardston. I am excited to be able to attend the Sealing in the Temple and for Steve to be part of the wedding party. Harrison and Steve have been really good friends for many years.
In all this, we got a Tree, with pink blossoms and grass in our front yard. I am glad that this finally came because I was getting tired of having a mud pit in the front yard... now on to the back yard... soon...
Steve and I decided we would take a vacation this summer. We have planned it all out, first Vegas for a couple days, then off to DISNEYLAND!!! I am sooo excited to act like a little girl and see all the princesses and everything. After that we will head to Hollywood! Hollywood walk of fame, wax museum. and then for a kicker I have convinced Steve to go to Newport beach... does that sound familiar? yes? its where the TV show the OC was filmed!! I am sooo excited for this... haha I am loser I know but I can't wait for this vacation. I am in serious need of a vacation, to get away from life and work!
On another note I have been watching Gilmore Girls alot lately ( I have the series) It is soo great! I love it! Although I am now in Season 6 (no I haven't seen it before this) and they have changed writers.. who I am convinced isn't as good/funny as the previous one. I still love it, but I am sad about how things look like they will turn out...I sure hope they turn out better then I think they will.

Rain Rain go away!!

It has been raining so much lately, its driving me crazy! Thanks goodness the forecast says sunshine this weekend but guess what it says for Monday??? yep you guessed it.... Rain! UGH!
We still have just mud around the house so far, so we are just floating in it! It's hard trying to keep the front and back entrances clean when you have a bratty dog who will not stay still while you dry him off!
Our house is a little fuller these days. Mom and Dad are living with us! They are waiting for their own house to be done. The possession date is now July 23! There are positives and negatives... positives - Cleaner house, Better home cooked dinners, (Thanks Mom!!), Someone else to walk the dog (Thanks Dad!!) and just some other people to talk to and hang out with. Negatives - not as much alone time with Steve (there are only so many places you can hide in our house! haha)
Tomorrow is Steve's Birthday! I have some stuff planned and have already bought his gifts, but he reads this so I can't tell you yet what I got him ;) I Love you Steve!!!
Last weekend I planted some plants into a HUGE planter! My mom let me borrow it for the summer its a big wine barrel! Its fun! I will post pictures of it soon, as the flowers need to bloom a little more. I am proud of my little garden. I never liked gardening growing up but that was because it was chore that I had to do! haha but because of that I now know how to take care of my plants! Thanks mom!
